The beautiful setting overlooking the loch made our stay incredibly peaceful and picturesque.

Breathtaking views and warm hosts
Waking up to the stunning vista of Loch Etive was unforgettable. Sofie and Matt truly made us feel at home, offering freshly baked bread at breakfast and helpful local tips.
While our stay was mostly perfect, the lack of communal lounging space during busier times made it tough for us to relax and wind down after a long day.

You can't miss Sofie's award-winning breakfast—a stunning spread featuring homemade bread and the best smoked salmon I’ve ever tasted. Plus, the cozy lounge with a view over Loch Etive is a fab place to unwind after your adventures. Meeting the piglets and goats just adds to the charm!

stunning views over Loch Etive, lovely shared dining area, well-appointed bedrooms
Why no combined shower and body wash? TV reception poor in bad weather!!! More communal lounging space would have been nice!!! Maybe consider more family-friendly activities too!!!

Family with children relaxing getaway
We had an amazing time exploring the surroundings,, the view from our room was amazing, it just felt like paradise. Sofie’s breakfast was something else-those homemade breads and meringues blew my mind, straight outta my usual comfort zone.
Sure, it wasn’t exactly budget-friendly,, but trust me it was worth every penny.

For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly activities on-site.

The experience at Ceo Mara was truly delightful. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains. Every morning started with an exquisite breakfast featuring Sofie's homemade breads and jams, along with the best smoked salmon I've ever tasted. The spacious room provided both comfort and a cozy ambiance with lovely decor. Matt and Sofie's recommendations for local attractions were spot on and made our exploration much easier. The cozy sitting area and the availability of wellies for those unexpected Scottish weather moments added a thoughtful touch. one slight inconvenience was the limited availability of communal lounging space during peak times, which made it tricky to relax with a book after a day of adventures. the hospitality was exceptional, and we felt genuinely welcomed throughout our stay.
